Alpha testers meeting and feedback

leave a comment »

Friday (July 23rd. 2010) there has been a feedback meeting of alpha testers in Florence, for those reachable. Thanks to all that took part, here I try to resume the feedback and ideas received.

If you use the plugin for Firefox, you must download the update (version 0.8) here:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/197681/

Remarks on which there has been universal consent:

- auto-load when at bottom page is more disturbing than helpful:
already disabled and is online (CTRL-R)

-  don’t offer last used type in Licorize when bookmarking:
done  and is online

- smiley filters are useless
removed

Other updates:

- “team at work” e-mail subscriptions now work

- Chrome extension now available: https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/omakmaebliikebbbhbpmbojkkbnabnkp (no its not a joke, that is the kind of URls Chrome extensions provide)

All proposals including  those concerning comments on strips are on

http://community.licorize.com

where I hope to get more feedback ;-) . You can vote ideas up and down. Do invite in your teams all people you feel you need – we already have 50 people enrolled and 7293 strips.

Thanks for your help!

Licorize is in alpha stage (means: incomplete and unstable), so either you love risk and try it anyway, or wait for beta. Send us an e-mail if you want to know when it gets out of beta.
